Description: As reviewed by AWR:

This book is substantial in both size and content. Respected author Bill Hylton’s 2006 text has been revised and updated to expound on ‘professional router techniques and jigs any woodworker can use’. And in 376 well illustrated pages that is exactly what he does starting with a pulled apart explanation of the tool itself. Designing, making, accessorising and using the router table is next described.  Routing techniques from basic to advanced are fully explored (template work, decorative mouldings, edge treatments, curved work plus dadoing,  grooving, rabbeting). Joint cutting is also treated extensively: edge, mortise and tenon, lap, dovetails (half-blind, sliding), splined mitre, box, spline and dovetail keys, lock mitre are some of the ones covered. Practical, clear and concise is a good description of this encyclopaedic value-plus book.
