As reviewed by AWR:
Not another book on sharpening I hear you say! Yes, it seems there are as many ways to sharpen as there are recipes for pumpkin soup, and most are quite tasty. The wealth of information presented here, as well as the variety of methods, sharpening systems and jigs explained could be a little daunting, if you’re not an in-depth kind of person. Steel, bench, water and oil stones, diamond and ceramic sharpeners, jigs, machines, setups and methods are all separate chapters. The fun stuff is at the end though with 17 full page ‘profiles’ of the sharpening setups and tips of some celebrity or at least reasonably well known woodworkers. A good book for the enthusiast.
