As reviewed by AWR:
After 400 Boxes came 500 Bowls, and now 500 Chairs is here. All are picture books, there’s no flowery text or how-to info. Inspiration, amazement and disbelief at how some people’s pictures got through will guarantee your enjoyment of other people’s ideas. There are a few sublime works here and some very good ones too. There is humour, pathos and irony and a number of sharp pointy things that could do real damage on the way to the light switch. The Aussie contingent is small but strong: AWR contributing editors Robert Howard and Neil Erasmus, plus Tony Kenway, Ross Annels and Pajda Perina. To be honest the 500 could have been trimmed, but it is so much fun looking through them all. If you make furniture you’ll enjoy this resource.
