Chris Stott's book starts off with an introduction to choosing tools, turning technique and safety plus some guidance on selling your work. There's also a very nice section on materials (wood, vegetable and artificial goods). There are fifty pieces, each presented over two pages. Each piece is photographed along with actual size drawings line drawings and almost all have a short text describing the actual making. A gallery of some top makers is also featured.
